Terms of Service

These terms define the conditions for using Pen Atelier Fountain. By using the service, users are deemed to agree to these terms.

The service is a web app for recording and managing fountain pen collections, wishlists, photos, ink history, notes, tags, and analytics.

Features, screens, storage methods, sync behavior, UI, and descriptions may change as the service is improved.

Important changes that may affect a user's decision to subscribe, such as paid feature details, prices, plan conditions, or differences from the free plan, will be announced through appropriate means such as notices within the service.

Users may sign in with Google and are responsible for managing their Google account and login state.

When signed out, data may be stored locally in the browser. When signed in, data is synced with Supabase. Some data may be lost, duplicated, or delayed due to browser deletion, device changes, sync failures, or network issues.

Some features are provided as paid subscription features through Stripe. The service does not directly store credit card numbers.

Subscriptions automatically renew according to the selected billing cycle until canceled. Users can cancel subscriptions from account settings or the Stripe Customer Portal, and paid features generally remain available until the end of the current billing period.

Because this is a digital service, cancellations, returns, and refunds after payment are generally not accepted, except for duplicate payments, erroneous charges, payment processing issues, cases required by law, or cases where the operator deems it necessary.

Users are responsible for the data, photos, and notes they register, and must have the necessary rights to register them. Users should only upload photos they took themselves or photos they are otherwise authorized to register.

Please do not include personal information, third-party information, addresses, phone numbers, identity documents, people, store or event photos that may infringe rights, sensitive content, or content you do not want stored.

If registered data may infringe third-party rights, violate laws, include inappropriate personal information, or otherwise violate these terms, the operator may hide, delete, restrict, or suspend the relevant data or account without prior notice.

Users must not use the service for unlawful activity, unauthorized access, excessive load, scraping, spam, commercial databases, or large-scale redistribution without permission.

Rights to photos, notes, and collection data registered by users generally remain with the users. Users grant the operator permission to use registered data only as necessary to provide, store, sync, display, back up, and improve the service.

The operator will not publicly use registered photos, notes, or collection data as advertising materials, sell them to third parties, or use them beyond what is necessary to provide the service without the user's explicit consent. Shared or public features may display data within the scope of those features.

The operator does not guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free, complete, suitable for a particular purpose, or that data will always be fully stored, synced, restored, or displayed. Users should keep their own backups of important data when needed.

The service uses third-party services such as Google, Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Google Analytics, and Google Forms. Failures, specification changes, suspension, account restrictions, or policy changes by these services may affect all or part of the service.
