Privacy Policy

Pen Atelier Fountain is a web app for recording fountain pen collections, wishlists, photos, ink history, and related notes.

This service handles personal information and related data only as needed to provide collection management, Google sign-in, device sync, support, analytics, and subscription features.

The service may store long-term hobby records such as ownership status, acquisition information, photos, notes, and ink history.

• Authentication data: Google account identifier, email address, display name, Supabase Auth user ID, and authentication session information
• Collection data: fountain pen brand, model, nib, filling type, writing feel, colors, acquisition date, shop, tags, reference URLs, notes, wishlist details, photos, main photo selection, and ink history
• Billing data: Stripe Customer ID, subscription plan, subscription status, renewal date, and related billing state. We do not directly store credit card numbers.
• Local and preference data: localStorage data, language settings, suggestions added by the user, saved filters, sync state, created timestamps, and updated timestamps
• Technical and support data: access time, viewed pages, device/browser environment, error information, operational logs, inquiry content, contact details, and sent timestamps

• To authenticate users, maintain login state, and identify accounts
• To store, display, edit, search, filter, analyze, and sync collection data, photos, ink management data, and user-specific suggestions
• To investigate bugs and sync errors, improve the service, maintain security, and prevent misuse
• To respond to inquiries, verify identity when needed, and provide necessary notices
• To manage paid features, subscription status, payments, billing, and cancellation

Information obtained through Google sign-in is used only for authentication, account identification, and user display.

The service does not access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Photos, or other Google account content. Google user data is not used for advertising, sold to third parties, or used for purposes unrelated to Google sign-in.

Use and transfer of Google user data by this service follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We use Google for sign-in, Google Analytics, and Google Forms; Supabase for authentication, database, and photo storage; Vercel for hosting; and Stripe for subscription checkout and billing management.

We do not directly store credit card numbers. Payment information is handled by Stripe under Stripe's terms and privacy policy.

Inquiry content, contact details, and sent timestamps may be processed through Google Forms. User IDs, email addresses, collection data, and photo data may be stored in Supabase. Access logs and technical logs may be processed by Vercel.

We do not sell users' personal information or provide it to third parties except where required by law, with the user's consent, or as necessary to use external services for providing the service.

External services such as Google, Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Google Forms, and Google Analytics may process or store information only as needed to provide, operate, analyze, secure, and bill for the service.

The handling of information by these external services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Uploaded photos may be converted and compressed in the browser using Canvas or similar browser APIs. This usually removes EXIF metadata and location information, but we cannot guarantee complete removal in every environment. Please check and remove sensitive metadata before uploading photos.

Please avoid uploading photos that include personal information, documents, people, location details, or anything you do not want stored.

Until a formal public profile feature is provided, the service is not intended to publicly expose users' collection photos.

The app uses localStorage for local-only usage, language settings, suggestions, and sync support.

Cookies or browser storage may also be used for Google sign-in, Supabase Auth session maintenance, Google Analytics, and Stripe Checkout.

Google Analytics may collect page views, access time, device/browser environment, and referrer information. We do not intentionally send registered pen names, photos, notes, or email addresses to Google Analytics.

Disabling or deleting cookies or browser storage may affect some service features, login persistence, and analytics accuracy.

Data entered by users is stored in their account or browser while they use the service.

When users delete pens, photos, suggestions, or other data, the data is removed from service display. However, it may remain for a certain period due to backups, logs, or technical reasons.

Until a self-service account deletion feature is available, users may request data deletion by contacting us.

Users may request disclosure, confirmation, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or suspension of third-party provision of data stored in their account.

• The Google account email address used for registration
• The scope of data to delete
• Information needed for identity verification

We will respond within a reasonable scope after identity and technical verification.

The service uses Supabase authentication, Row Level Security, Storage, Vercel hosting infrastructure, and related measures to protect user data.

However, internet communications and cloud services always involve certain risks. We take reasonable security measures but do not guarantee absolute security.

The service is primarily intended for personal hobby collection management. Minors should use Google sign-in, cloud sync, paid features, and inquiries with parental consent or supervision as necessary.

This policy may be revised due to changes in service content, third-party services, laws, or operation policies. Important changes will be announced through appropriate means such as notices within the service.
